CHANGE OF STARTING TIME & VENUE - The briefing session will now be held at 6.30pm at the Woolgoolga RSL just down the road from the Seaview Tavern.

There will be an Australian Team Briefing and Get-Together at 6.30pm on Thursday, 3rd September at the Woolgoolga RSL for the 2009 World Waveski Titles. Following this will be the 2009 Waveski Surfing Australia AGM where discussions on the future of the sport in Australia have been tabled.

Given Australia is the host nation, we will be running through Australian team responsibilities with assisting with the running of the event and who the National Delegates will be for Australia the event. We still need volunteers for this role, click here for more information on the role.

This will also be the only opportunity to pick up Australian Team Shirts. The shirts are subsidised by the association and your first shirt will cost $10. There are a limited number of extra shirts ordered and will be available on a first in basis at $20 each.

As a reminder, all entrants must be current 2009 Waveski Surfing Australia members. If you have not completed and paid for your membership, please complete the membership form and send with your payment as soon as possible.

 Due to the large number of entries for the 2009 World Titles, to ensure that the event is completed within the allotted time each country needs to nominate 1-2 judges to have ready should dual banks be required. We will need some volunteers with experience with judging waveski/surfing events at a senior level to assist with this.
